During my time at PLANOLY, I was tasked with helping Loomly, another company under the Traject umbrella, with updating their visual identity by creating fresh, new illustrations.


 

Brand Refresh Goals

The main objective was to create a new illustration style that feels more clean and unified while retaining the personality of their original illustrations. Transitioning from hand-drawn illustrations with rough, crayon textures to vectors, bold color blocks, and a more unified color palette was our solution to this problem.

My responsibilities were to create new vector illustrations, narrow down the color palette, and to create design templates for social.

Style and Personality

As a brand continues to grow, it is only natural that its visual identity should evolve with it. Loomly strives to be tech-savvy while retaining a sense of playfulness and whimsy. Their current illustrations have plenty of personality, and there was a strong foundation to work off of; it just needs some elevation to really bring it over the finish line.
