Role: Graphic Designer
Responsibilities: Print, Social Media, Environmental/Interior Graphics

Social Media

During my time at Restore, we were going through growing pains and desperately needed to create a more cohesive visual identity across the board which was difficult to achieve across all of our social media accounts. Each store location had their own accounts to manage, so creating simple systems and templates to build off of was necessary at the time. Designs were to be clean, minimalistic, and easy to replicate. Our color palette was limited, and we also wanted to create a greater emphasis on photography. And with the introduction of Canva into our corporate workflow, keeping things simple and easy to navigate became even more important.

Here are a few examples of what I worked on during my time at Restore.

Store Interiors

I spent a bulk of my time at Restore handling matters involving our store interiors. I designed the “we have a drip for that” graphic for our IV Drip rooms and eventually reworked the dial graphic to be more consistent with our current visual identity, which can be seen in our headquarters. I decided to fill in the text for the location name instead of leaving it outlined because we would occasionally run into readability issues.

I worked closely with our construction team and would regularly receive floor plans to examine. My job involved determining wall graphic placements (and by extension, accent walls). I helped franchisees with decor decisions such as: which walls should canvases go on, what rooms would benefit from having rugs. I also worked closely with a local printer to get wall vinyl graphics ordered, produced, and shipped out to locations across the country. All graphics had to be uniquely sized for each individual wall which I accomplished by utilizing measurements from floor plans. Furniture placement and light fixtures were also things I needed to account for when sizing and placing graphics. For our local locations, I would schedule and oversee vinyl installations myself for interior graphics and exterior store front graphics.
